How do you set up a jukebox playlist?
Place a single chest directly on top of the jukebox: a regular Chest, Trapped Chest or any Copper Chest works. The Music Discs inside become the playlist. Double chests aren't listed, so stick to one.
| Situation | What the jukebox does |
|---|---|
| Disc finishes | Swaps it for the next disc in the chest |
| Empty slot or non-disc item | Skips it |
| Last disc finishes | Loops back to the start |
| No discs in the chest | Replays the current disc |
| Disc ejected | Skips to the next disc |
Play order is chest slot order, so lay your discs out from the top-left slot in the order you want.
What is Brittle Ice and where do you find it?
Brittle Ice is a new ice block that cracks and breaks once a player or mob steps on it. It only generates naturally in ice cave crevasses. Frostbites can walk over it without breaking it, which matters when one is chasing you.
You can pick it up with Silk Touch, or make it: any water block touching a Blue Ice block horizontally turns into Brittle Ice.
What changed for zombies and Frostbites?
- Zombies, Drowned and Husks no longer take damage from the Freezing effect.
- Drowned in Powder Snow now turn into a Zombie first, then a Frostbite.
- Ice, Packed Ice, Blue Ice and Frosted Ice get their own sounds.
Pack versions moved to data pack 124.0 and resource pack 100.1. Turn on snapshots in the Launcher's Installations tab, and back up your main world first: Mojang warns test builds can corrupt saves.
