What is Minecraft Wilderness Bound?
Mojang's third drop of 2026 is all about camping. You hike through an autumn-colored forest, loot abandoned camps, set up your own outpost and spend the night on cushions and straw beds.

How do you craft the Wilderness Bound camping gear?
- Cushion: 3 Wool Slabs of the same color. Goes on any flat surface, can't be pushed by pistons, and drops if its support block breaks.
- Straw Bed: a one-night bed. It doesn't work in the Nether or the End and breaks if you try.
- New Wool and Concrete Stairs and Slabs for every color.
- New Explorer Maps make camps and biomes easier to find.
What do you need to play Wilderness Bound?
Nothing extra to buy: just an up-to-date Java or Bedrock game. That's 26.3 on Java and 26.50 or later on Bedrock. Full lists are in the official Java 26.3 and Bedrock 26.50 notes. The next drop is winter themed; our Bedrock 26.60 guide shows how to test it.
