How do you try ice caves in Bedrock 26.60?

The ice content is experimental: you'll find it in a new world with "Drop 4 of 2026" turned on. Don't enable it on your main world; experiments can't be switched off later and can break saves. Ice caves form under cold biomes, with terrain made mostly of Packed Ice and Calcite.

What does the Freezing effect do, and how do you stop it?

Freezing makes you shake, cuts your jump height and eventually deals damage. Leather armor stops you from freezing, but it doesn't block or remove the effect. Mobs vulnerable to freezing take 5 times the damage, so Potions and Arrows of Freezing hit them hard.

  • Potion of Freezing: brewed with Ice Balls, with Splash and Lingering versions.
  • Arrow of Freezing: dip arrows into a Cauldron filled with Potion of Freezing.
  • Zombies and Husks turn into Frostbites in Powder Snow; a Frostbite turns back into a Zombie after long enough underwater.

Which bugs did Bedrock 26.60 fix?

  • Bundles placed in a Double Chest no longer lose their contents.
  • Imported custom skins no longer reset after you relaunch.
  • Marketplace updates finish properly, and the missing-pack error loop is gone.
  • Large Fireballs no longer ignite targets, and Bonus Chests generate correctly in some flat world presets.
  • The menu bitmap font now covers extended Latin, Cyrillic and Greek, so those languages no longer mix fonts.
